Team Engine is highly secure and we are constantly working to further improve its security. The following makes Team Engine a secure solution:

Access Management

Each Workplace provides access to information that is controlled for different roles and groups, and the access is decided on a Workplace, module and document level. Access is monitored for each transaction.

Traceability

All user activity is logged and saved.

Backup

All workspace data will be saved daily and data is stored for up to one year.

Encryption

All traffic to and from the Workspaces is encrypted. The passwords are always stored encrypted and cannot be read or accessed by anyone.

Advanced login

If required, login can be completed with digital signatures (“disposable” passwords) for each login, sent by SMS or by a digipass.

Intrusion Detection

We track and log all traffic and will close automatically if we suspect various types of intrusions, such as brute force attacks.

Identification and communication

We use encrypted HTTP traffic, SSL (Secure Socket Layer). When this encryption is being used, all the addressing scheme in the client starts with the letter combination https: / /. SSL encryption uses RSA encryption as a standard for encryption of data communications systems.

The SSL functionality also includes a server certificate. The certificate is issued by an independent organization, Verisign. With the help of the server certificatem the user can, via the client, verify that the correct system is being used.

Communication with the server is encrypted using a 128-bit encryption key.

Availability

To meet the need for availability around the clock we have outsourced our operation. The external company deliver our services on virtual servers for maximum flexibility and uptime.
